The most magnificent Creators don’t want to get together with people who think just like they do. They’re looking for people who have other thoughts, because out of the contradiction, comes ideas that could not be born out of sameness. Your relationships will be ultimately more if you’re not identical twins just “yessing, yessing, yessing” to everything that the other one is about.

Diversity even works are on the spiritual plane.  Everyone has the own thoughts, their own belief systems.  Think for a moment about the ramifications for humanity if we all believed the same thing, if as in one of my favorite television shows we were all assimilated.

As I said in a previous entry, we all are skilled at something.  If we have a talent it is our responsibility to share that with someone who doesn’t have the same set of strengths that we have; just as we should ask for help when we have difficulty.  The only weakness that exists is when we DON’T ask for help.  That’s why diversity exists.  It exists to help us seek the aid we need.

Those on the spiritual plane recognize this and it’s why they seek out ALL people.  (That’s right!  I said people.  For aren’t those in the next world also people?  Won’t they be people again?)  We all need each other to help us through this thing called life, this thing called humanity.  We can’t all be skilled at the same tasks, if that was the case we’d be talking again about assimilation.  I don’t know about you, but that’s the LAST thing I’d want.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive
Blessings you to all!

  1. >Diversity is a beautiful thing and can be especially helpful in the spiritual path. Not only can it open our minds up when talking to others with differing approaches but it can also, getting together with others that might have a different culture, religion, philosophy or spiritual approach, enlighten us on some areas where similiarities and parallels exist between us. We are all interconnected and to be aware of the delicate strands that are similiar in the midst of the bold and vibrant ones that contrast ours, can bring a shared understanding.Great post. I love talking to others that have different approaches. This world is amazing, filled with diversity in nature and humanity, a diversity definitely worth exploring 🙂

  2. So true Christopher. For one thing, I’m not technically-minded, so I certainly need the expertise of those who are. It takes all kinds.
Did you switch over from Blogger after the recent debacle?
    Love and blessings,

    • Good Morning Debra:
      Blogger to WordPress:
I created a wordpress account about 9 months ago and contemplated migrating then. Funny, I’m usually the one who LOVES new tech challenges… (Had a computer consulting business for almost seven years, software and hardware trouble shooting)
…But I wasn’t ready to learn a new blog platform quite yet.

After the issue came up on Thursday and Friday last week I FINALLY decided to switch over. I’m SOOOO glad I did.
