Enjoying the Ride

Many people live their lives struggling against the current while others use the flow like a mighty wind.

Again, I’ll refer to Wayne Dyer:
Row your boat DOWN the stream.
What’s important to remember and I know I’ve written about this here before so please forgive me and bear with me. There are things that we need to read multiple times over, to be reminded of.

Life doesn’t have to be difficult!
Life doesn’t have to be a challenge.

We MAKE life difficult!  We MAKE life a challenge!

No pain, no gain?
Do you believe that?  That in order to gain any good we must endure pain?
C’mon!  Really?  Since when does pain equal comfort, because if you break down that statement, that’s ultimately what it’s saying.

What you really want is to get into the flow.  My friend, Cathy posted a response to my Facebook posting of this.  She said:
This reminds me of Nemo, when Marvin was in the East Australian current with Crush.

Cathy of course was referring to the movie Finding Nemo.

It’s so funny but I never made that connection until she brought it up and now I see it so clearly.

We all have choices that come up in our lives.
–Do I go here?
–Do I take that job?
–Do I take that vacation?
–Do I drive or do I walk?

Some of us agonize and turn the choices over and over afraid to make ANY choice.  What feels right in your gut?  Ask the divine.  There is no wrong decision.  The wrong decision only lives in our mind. The divine will NEVER steer you wrong.  That’s where many people go wrong.
They don’t trust the divine.
They don’t believe in the divine

Let go of your preconceived notions.
Let go and let God.

If you can take your hands off of your life even if only temporarily and let God/Divine/Universe steer you in the direction it has for you, you will not be lead astray.  Stop struggling and let the current that your life is take you where you’re supposed to go.

You’ll find a more peaceful life!
You’ll find a more joyful life!

Stop struggling against the current and move with flow.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

  1. Most of us are so afraid to surrender to god, to flow with the tide. If you look at it everything negative stems from fear and insecurity. Love your post.

  2. I’d much rather get caught up and flow with the currents God sends me then try to swim up river, by my own will and accord. Great post 🙂
