Adaptive Beings

You are adaptive Beings. And you’re not finished as a species in your evolution. You are as unevolved now to what you will be 2000 years from now, or a million years from now—as the relics that you are digging up of the cave man. You are…we are all eternally continuing to evolve.

What’s the next evolutionary stage for humanity?  If, like Abraham says in the above that we are not finished as a species then where do we go from here?  What do you think?  Will our next leap forward be spiritual in nature, bringing us closer to the Divine.  I recently read a book by Gary Braver called:
Tunnel Vision.  Mr. Braver attempts to shed a light on Near Death Experiences and gives us a glimpse into what can happen when science gets mixed up with religion and or spirituality.

The Divine will only let us get so close to the spiritual answer we are always seeking.
The Divine will give us the definitive answer only when we are ready.
We are certainly not ready at the moment.

That’s why we are constantly evolving.  A select few are certainly ready to accept the answer now and it is definitely NOT many of the religious sects.  Many of these religions are still preaching intolerance.

We will not see the true face of God/The Divine/our Higher Power until we as humanity understand that the true nature of God is love.

We must stop excluding.
We must stop hating.
We must stop protesting at funerals.

God loves everyone.
God doesn’t say:
I think I’ll save him, oh but NOT her.

Until we realize that God created us in his image and that God doesn’t make mistakes, we are doomed to continue guessing whether HE is a reality.

Take your spiritual blinders away from your eyes and see the truth:
God is love!

Be Happy! Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

  1. Loved this post Chris 🙂

“We will not see the true face of God/The Divine/our Higher Power until we as humanity understand that the true nature of God is love.”

    I completely agree!

I read this recently in a book I’m reading and I think it relates well to this post, so would like to share it with you 🙂

” God reveals himself as eternal love and we can see that love that changes is not love. Jesus came to tell us that God loves us with unchanging love and that this everlasting love of God for humanity is nothing bu God’s presence in every human heart…This everlasting love of God for humanity is non-judgemental. God’s love cannot say, “You are a sinner,” or “I forgive you,” for love that forgives belongs to time and space, and is not eternal. God cannot say, “I forgive you,” He can only say, “I love you with an everlasting love. This everlasting love of God is seen in the parable that Jesus told of the prodigal son…” .~ You are the Light, John Martin Sahajananda, p. 104

    Hope you’re doing well!

  2. Hi Jessica:
Thanks for stopping by. I replied to your G+ comment. Don’t know if you’ve read Timothy Keller’s The Prodigal God, if not, you should check it out. Quite a book.

  3. I tend to think that each person is in the place they need to be in to understand their journey. We are not all in the same place and we don’t all move at the same pace, but nobody is in the wrong, not even the one’s who protest at funerals. It is something they have to move through to learn. It is so hard for the families to see this as they grieve, but we have to love them even as we feel like they disrespect the memories of our fallen friends. I practice Ho’oponopono so I feel like it is our job to clean on the situation and take total responsibility for what comes into our awareness. Namaste – Nicole~

    • Hi Nicole:
Sometimes all it takes is another point of view to make us see things in a different light. Of course you’re right. If this life is all about learning and moving on (which I completely know that it is) then there are always things for us to be taught. Some of us already know these things and it is the responsibility of those of us who do to show those the do not.

      Thanks for the lesson, Nicole.

      Chris
