We All Have More Time

Sometimes, when things take longer than you thought they would, it’s just a gentle reminder from your greater self that you have more time than you thought, and that there’s a journey to enjoy.

Mike Dooley

Was having a discussion yesterday with a friend about this very thing.  We were discussing how I found something I loved to do and discovered a way to make my living doing it.  My friend for the longest time, a few years ago, was lamenting the fact that she wanted what I had, a love for what she was doing.  When she was traveling this path, I gently reminded her that she would eventually get there, that she’d find that something she was searching for.

Her words yesterday were what I impressed on her all the time she was striving to find that passion:
It was under my nose the whole time.

And it was.  But it wasn’t my place to tell her that.  She had to discover it for herself.  People (strangers) don’t know the struggle it takes to get to a point in your life where you’re happy with your life.  They only see the success.

They don’t see the challenges.
They don’t see the two steps up and the one step back.

They only see the success.
And they want the success.
They want the success without doing the work.

My friend now has what she wanted.
She has a business that is starting to finally pay the dividends.

We ALWAYS have more time than we think.  We just tend to forget that.  We’ve become a society of instant gratification and if we can’t get it yesterday then sometimes we don’t want it.  However, like Mike Dooley says:
It’s REALLY The Journey that matters.

It is so important to remember that there is a plan, a roadmap that has been laid out for us.  And there is no way to detour from that map.  We will eventually find our way.  We ALL eventually find our way.  Some of us might take longer, but we all DO find our way.

Heck, look at Grandma Moses!  How long did it take her to discover her passion?  We all find our path in our own time.

Why race through life?
We should savor all the time we have.

Our time will come and we will rejoice when we’ve found our treasure.  Then we can teach others.  We can use our knowledge.  We can explain to the next person who wants what we have, that love for what we do; to keep plugging.  We can explain to them that we didn’t know that what we were doing was our gift.  We can be like my friend whose eyes have been opened.

I bet you’re curious who my friend is.  You are are, aren’t you?  You know what they say about curiosity don’t  you?

You still want to know however, don’t you?  Alright, don’t ever tell me I didn’t do anything for you.  My friend’s business is:
Sea Green Natural

Remember:
Sometimes, when things take longer than you thought they would, it’s just a gentle reminder from your greater self that you have more time than you thought, and that there’s a journey to enjoy.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

    • Thanks, Martha!
This is something I TRULY believe. I REALLY believe there is a roadmap set out for us and we can’t deviate from it. We must have faith that our path will open up to us and we just have to continue trusting.
